Casa de Uco is a boutique wine lodge located in the Uco Valley, near the foothills of the Andes. The surrounding valley is Mendoza‘s up and coming location for top-end wine production; the region’s main grape varieties are Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
With distinctive architecture, caring staff, and an on-property winery, Casa de Uco is one of our favorite hotels in Argentina.
The lodge is surrounded by a 320-hectare estate that features a winery, ambient-temperature swimming pool, tennis court, and picnic area.
Inside, guests can enjoy the restaurant and wine bar, fitness room, spa, sauna, and game room.
Bicycles are available on loan, and horseback riding can be arranged through the on-site concierge.
Wine & Dine
Casa de Uco’s farm-to-table restaurant highlights regional flavors, local wines, and ingredients grown in the estate’s organic vegetable garden.
The hotel also offers a weekly asado–a traditional Argentine barbecue experience of fire roasted beef and lamb.
The 16 guest rooms and villas are accented in local wood, stone, and traditional textiles.
In-room amenities include luxury linens and towels, security box, television, mini-bar, espresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, and 24-hour room service. Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.
This villa features a bedroom, a master bathroom, dining area, fireplace, living room, and courtyard. The villa is 538 square feet. A rooftop terrace with a tub overlooks the vineyards and the Andes.
This two-story villa features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining area, and a deck that overlooks the estate’s pond. The villa measures 1,077 square feet, will accommodation for up to 4 guests.
