HOTEL AWA

Hotel AWA rests on a 50-acre private estate on the sparkling shore of Lake Llanquihue.  The hotel is flanked by southern beech and pine forest, and overlooks the lake and a private dock.  The snow-capped cone of Osorno Volcano rises through the clouds above the opposite shore. 

This lake is one of the most accessible wilderness destinations in all of Chilean Patagonia. Nearby, guests can explore Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, the Petrohue Waterfall, Alerce Andino National Park, the Llanquihue National Reserve.

Hotel Awa is located 30 miles (18 minutes) northeast of the town of Puerto Varas, approximately 40 minutes from the Puerto Montt (PMC) airport.

Hotel AWA’s 12 Superior Rooms are about 500 square feet (46 square meters) and fitted with a king or two twin beds. Each room accommodates 2 guests.   

Each rooms offers a view of Llanquihue Lake and the Osorno Volcano.

Awa Superior room has a floor to ceiling lake view with wood floor and white king bed.

Suites

Hotel AWA’s 4 suites are just over 800 square feet (75 square meters) and fitted with a king or two twin beds. Each suite accommodates up to 3 guests.

The living room includes a sofa bed and bar.

All the rooms have view to Llanquihue Lake and Osorno Volcano.

The Singular Patagonia

THE SINGULAR PATAGONIA

The Singular Patagonia is a national treasure. Located on the Ultima Esperanza Sound just outside Puerto Natales, this is the only full service luxury hotel in  far southern Chilean Patagonia. It’s location offers guests access to the Torres del Paine region and to lesser visited areas near the coast that most visitors to the national park never see. 

The Singular Patagonia Hotel sits beneath massive green mountains along a blue lakeside in the Chilean Patagonia.

The historic core of the hotel originally served as an Edwardian Era cold storage plant for Patagonian products headed to England.

Declared a national monument in 1996, that portion of the structure is protected as part of Chile’s cultural heritage.

With restoration and the addition of a guest wing, the project was reborn as The Singular Patagonia in 2011.

The full board option includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages (premium wine and spirits excluded) along with daily, guided expeditions in the company of other guests (two half-day tours or one full-day tour for each full day at The Singular Patagonia).

Guests are also invited to enjoy a winery visit, hiking, and riding.

SINGULAR PATAGONIA LOCATION

The Singular Patagonia is located near the edge of Señoret Channel, 5-minutes by road from the town Puerto Natales and its airport (PNT). The hotel is 2.5 hours by road from Punta Arenas airport (PUQ), which offers many more flights to other parts of Chile, and serves as a base for air travel to Antarctica.  Guests at The Singular Patagonia can also cross the border to Argentina, reaching the town of El Calafate in about four hours. 

The Singular Patagonia occupies a privileged spot near the end of the Ultima Esperanza Sound.  Guests have the opportunity to kayak, ride, bike, and hike at locations such as the Milodon Cave, the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, and private estancias.  

Torres del Paine National Park (2 hours away) is a regional highlight, famous for its hiking trails, glacial lakes, roaring waterfalls, southern beech forests, and abundant wildlife.

These suites have a massive window that overlooks the Fjord of Last Hope Sound, allowing guests uninterrupted views to Patagonia’s wilderness.

The Singular Patagonia Suite is fitted with custom couches, desks, tables and artwork.

Singular King Rooms

The 27 Singular King rooms are 500 square feet (45 square meters) and equipped with 1 King bed, working desk, love seat in seating area, and wheelchair access.

These rooms are fitted with a 6 meter wide glass window overlooking Patagonian fjords and Last Hope Sound.


Singular Twin Rooms

The 27 Singular Twin rooms are 500 square feet (45 square meters) and are equipped with 2 double beds, a large glass window overlooking Patagonian fjords and Last Hope Sound, working desk, love seat in seating area, and wheelchair access.

The Singular Santiago hotel is located in the heart of the resurgent Lastarria District, known for its parks, cafes, galleries, and museums.

Inside, you’ll find a clubby atmosphere decorated in warm shades of chocolate and khaki.

EOLO Patagonia’s Spirit is a 17-room Relais & Chateaux lodge tucked into a hillside within Estancia Alice, a 4,000-hectare private ranch.

The EOLO hotel is located on a 10,000 acre estancia with vast fields, Patagonian mountains in the back round and a bright blue sky.

This location—roughly half way between the gateway city of El Calafate and Los Glaciares National Park—overlooks the rolling Patagonian Steppe and low mountains, with distant glimpses of ice-blue of Lago Argentino.

This is a place of profound peace; outside, the wind carries the sound of lowing cattle and the plaintive calls of lonely birds.

Chef Juan Pablo Bonaveri showcases the best of what EOLO has to offer, pairing regional products with his international cuisine training.

Bonaveri has been head chef of the hotel’s restaurant for the past 5 years, fusing European immigrant foods with authentic Patagonia flavors.

EXPLORING ARGENTINA’S PATAGONIA 

Because EOLO is situated at the center of a 10,000 acre estancia, the adventure opportunities are endless.

Guests can go trekking to flamingo lagoons, mountain biking, bird watching, horseback riding, zip lining, and a 4X4 tour of EOLO’s unique landscape.

Perhaps the most popular excursion, however, is exploring the nearby Los Glaciares National Park, which is the largest national park in Argentina, comprising an area of approximately 1,500,000 acres.

It is home to 25 major glaciers.

Visitors trek through a massive white glacier up to the top surface.

Visitors can hike to the Perito Moreno Glacier where they end up on the top of the glacier. 

Visitors can also do kayaking  and cruise tours that put travelers face to face with some of the largest glaciers in the world.

Hangaroa

HANGAROA HOTEL

Hangaroa Hotel is located in a privileged spot on Easter Island — 2,300 from mainland Chile — in the village of Hanga Roa, only 5 minutes from the airport. The lodge’s striking contemporary architecture was inspired by the traditional boat houses of the Rapa Nui culture.

The 75 guest rooms face the Pacific Ocean and were constructed with cypress logs, clay, and volcanic stone.

HANGAROA LOCATION

Hangaroa hotel is located in the capital city of Easter Island, Hanga Roa. Easter Island is considered one of the most remote inhabited islands in the world, but it still captivates the attention of tourists thanks to its main attraction: the historic Moai statues also known as “Easter Island Heads.”

The statues are housed in the Rapa Nui National Park, a certified UNESCO World Heritage Site. They are considered monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people between the years of 1250 and 1500.

The nearly 900 Moai statues have been under restoration since 1950. Most were carved from tuff (volcanic ash) and the oversized heads, deep eyebrows, and long noses demonstrate the Polynesian belief in the sanctity of the chiefly head.

These double height rooms feature a guest bathroom, a spacious living room, sofa bed and desk, shower, a private terrace overlooking the sea. They do not have television.

HANGAROA AMENITIES

Vaitea Pool

Hangaroa boasts the largest pool on Easter Island. The tropical climate and mild temperatures provide ideal conditions to enjoy swimming while overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Spa Manavai

Spa Manavai offers a menu of modern wellness treatments utilizing natural ingredients. Surrounded by white sand overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the spa helps to renew mind and body.

Restaurants

Poerva Restaurant

This is the main restaurant at the hotel with a capacity of 110 people inside and 60 people on the outdoor terrace. An a la carte menu is served for breakfast and lunch.

Kaloa Restaurant

A sophisticated lounge with large banquette seating, comfortable pillows and sunset views. The two-level restaurant and lounge is a gathering place for hotel guests and local visitors looking to indulge in the freshest local seafood caught that day and other International favorites all complimented by a creative cocktail menu sure to enhance any evening.

Bar Vaikoa

The main hotel bar located near the pool offers a selection of cold dishes and a refreshing cocktail menu.

ACTIVE ADVENTURE

Hangaroa provides a menu of adventures, from boating to biking to trekking through million-year-old volcanoes.

But perhaps their greatest excursions are found in their hiking tours featuring expert guides who are knowledgeable about the ancestral culture and local community.

Ara Moai

On this 3.5-mile hike, guests will visit Rano Raraku, where the quarries of the megalithic statues called Moai are housed. Here, guests will learn about the carving and transportation process of these ancient statues from expert guides.

Guests will visit three quarries and follow the path called Ara Moai which highlights the best statues.

Hiking Ara o Te Ao

One of the oldest paths in Rapa Nui, Ara o Te Ao or “The Path of Power” ends at a lookout point over Rano Kau, the largest crater in Rapa Nui.

The 3.2-mile hike also loops through the ceremonial village of Orongo, the main cult of the Rapa Nui until the XIX Century.

Hiking Avareipua

This three-hour hike takes guests through a foundational settlement in Rapa Nui, called Ahu te Peu.

Guests hike through a landscape of lava tubes from the youngest volcanic activity on the island.
