Stella Maris Charter Yacht
The Cormorant: Galapagos Catamaran Charter
Launched in 2011 and renovated in October 2017, the Cormorant is one of the most advanced and comfortable vessels in all of the Galapagos.
This luxury motor catamaran combines speed—ten knots—with steadiness (catamarans tend to be more stable than monohull vessels).
Stella Maris features a steel mono-hull with an aluminum superstructure and two Caterpillar engines, each delivering 625 horsepower.
These large twin engines enable a cruising speed of 11 knots, with a maximum speed of 14 knots.
Stella Maris is also appreciably equipped with stabilizers—a rare feature in the Galapagos.
Stella Maris Cabins
Stella Maris houses six air-conditioned en-suite staterooms:
- (1) Master Cabin—(312 sq. ft, king-bedded, on bridge deck)
- (2) Elegant VIP Cabins—(193 sq. ft each, on main deck)
- (3) Additional Staterooms—(129 sq. ft each, below main deck)
The staterooms below the main deck can be configured with a double or twin-bedded layout.
Wet Bar, Professional Kitchen & More
Stella Maris also features a beautiful Central Staircase, separating the formal dining room from the ample living room.
The living room is equipped with television, DVD library, and Bose audio.
On the main deck, aft doors lead to a large shaded social area, perfect for dining alfresco.
Diverse Onboard Menu
The Stella Maris culinary staff prides themselves on catering to all dining preferences.
Accordingly, this Galapagos charter yacht serves imaginative Ecuadorian cuisine, featuring “the best accents of the Pacific Ocean”.
Wines onboard are carefully selected by the owner from the best vineyards in South America.
Other Stella Maris amenities include:
- Jetted Tub
- Wet Bar
- Professional Kitchen
Wi-Fi, Internet, and satellite communication are also available.
