Casa Higueras

Hidden behind a simple façade, the 17,222-square foot Casa Higueras boutique hotel overlooks the colorful hillsides of Valparaiso and the Pacific Ocean.

Situated in the historic neighborhood of Cerro Alegre in Valparaiso, the hotel is a reconstructed aristocrat mansion that was built by English and German immigrants in the 1920s. The neighborhood was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its spread of historic mansions and impressive gardens.

Accommodations 

The 20 guest rooms (5 Traditional, 4 Premium, 6 Premium Superior, 2 Superior, and 3 Deluxe) are tucked away on five floors and range from 236 to 602 square feet.

The comfortable interiors feature soft textiles, coved ceilings, and polished wood.

In-room amenities: bathrobes, slippers, security boxes, hair dryers, and Wi-Fi. Casa Higueras welcomes guests age twelve and older.



Amenities

An outdoor swimming pool, a spa tub, and a line of sun chairs are located in the terraced garden.

The hotel’s restaurant, Maralegre, is arguably the best in town.
