Magellan Discoverer is the sister ship to the Magellan Explorer and the newest addition to the Antarctica21 fleet. Launching in the 2026–27 season, it’s South America’s first hybrid-electric polar vessel, purpose-built for air-cruise expeditions. With capacity for just 76 guests, the ship combines small-scale access with efficient, low-impact design, engineered specifically for exploring Antarctica.
