Narbona Wine Lodge

Narbona Wine Lodge is a boutique lodge set among vineyards in eastern Uruguay, eight miles northwest of the riverside town of Carmelo.

The renovated estate house was originally constructed in 1909. A new winery was completed in 2010, surrounded by 123 acres of Tannat, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Viognier, and Syrah.

Accommodations

Each of the five suites has a unique personality, inspired by one of the region’s varietal wines. Three rooms overlook the winery, and two offer vineyard views.

All guestrooms are furnished with luxury linens, balcony, king-sized bed, fireplace, security box, mini-bar, coffee service, bathrobes, slippers, and hairdryer.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.

Amenities

Lodge amenities include a restaurant, wine cellar, swimming pool, and fitness center.

Guests can enjoy vineyard and winery tours, tastings, picnics, and tours of the estate’s creamery—producer of artisanal cheese, ice creams, and dulce de leche.

The estate also grows pepper, olives, and herbs.
