Pousada Trijunção is set within the 33,000 hectacres of Brazil’s great savannah, the Cerrado. Considered the richest savannah in the world, it boasts more than 850 bird species, 251 mammals, 482 reptiles and more. Despite these numbers, 150 species of animals are at risk of extinction, including the jaguar, armadillo, anteater and more. At the lodge itself, guests can see hundreds of bird species, wolves, and black panthers.
