Pousada Trijunção is set within the 33,000 hectacres of Brazil’s great savannah, the Cerrado.

The Cerrado is considered the richest savannah in the world, boasting more than 850 bird species, 251 mammals, 482 reptiles and more. Despite these numbers, 150 species of animals are at risk of extinction, including the jaguar, armadillo, anteater and more.

At the lodge itself, guests can see hundreds of bird species, wolves, and black panthers.

This king-bedded suites measure 968 square feet. The suite has a bedroom, a separate living room, and two balconies. The bathroom has a large soaking tub. Up to two single beds may be added, for a maximum occupancy of four guests. In-room amenities include air-conditioning, cable television, security box, mini-bar, hairdryer, high-thread-count linens, and Trousseau bathrobes.

The master suite at Trijuncao features a king size bed, bamboo roofs and large bathroom.

Premium Suites

These king-bedded suites measure 645 square feet. They have a bedroom and separate living room. Up to two single beds may be added, for a maximum occupancy of four guests. In-room amenities include air-conditioning, cable television, security box, mini-bar, hairdryer, high-thread-count linens, and Trousseau bathrobes.


Standard Suites

These king-bedded suites measure 322 square feet. One single bed may be added, for a maximum occupancy of three guests. In-room amenities include air-conditioning, cable television, security box, mini-bar, hairdryer, high-thread-count linens, and Trousseau bathrobes.

The pousada has maximized their space that feature bird filled gardens and books that celebrate Brazil’s history.

Activities

Fully guided excursions are available throughout the region. Guests can visit the Endangered Maned Wolf project that is dedicated to the preservation of these South American canids.

Among the other excursions are kayak trips on the Rio Formoso, bicycle tours, birdwatching, a visit to the Grande Sertão Veredas Park, stargazing, alligator night spotting by kayak, and a nighttime eco-safari.
