Remote escape

Chaltén Camp is a glamping retreat set within native beech forest, perched between the Rio de las Vueltas and a massive wall of granite. It is located just two miles –15 minutes by car or a 25-minute walk– from El Chalten town. Each dome features panoramic “windows” framing uninterrupted views of the Fitz Roy massif. Independently owned, the camp embraces a light footprint philosophy, inviting guests to experience Patagonia’s grandeur.

Notes:

A dome is a strong tent, built in a geodesic iron structure, covered with a canvas, and insulated with a special material. Stoves are handled exclusively by the staff, lighting them at sunset. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main dome with a daily menu based on simple traditional Argentine recipes. Lunches are prepared as box lunches for touring. Inclusions and amenities are subject to change without prior notice. Activities may come at an additional cost. Room sizes shown above are approximate.
