Hotel Boutique Don Pepe is located in Santa Marta–the oldest European-founded city in Colombia. Flanked by the Sierra Nevada, the hotel’s storied building was built four years after the arrival of the city’s founder, Bastidas. The house was part of the first convent of the order of the Dominican brothers in South America, and survived the pirate attacks and the historic earthquake of 1834.
