Located on a 200-acre rainforest enclave in central Belize, Gladden Valley Stream is a private villa perched high over a gently flowing stream. This pristine jungle hideaway is the mainland sibling of Gladden Island, our favorite place to stay in Belize.
Gladden Valley Stream is located approximately 1,000 feet above sea level. Temperatures here are cooler than on the coast. Mornings and evenings can be misty; forest clouds roll in and out with the sunrise and sunset changes in air temperature.
From Valley Stream, you’ll have access to miles of diverse private trails. During your stay, LANDED can arrange privately guided explorations of ancient Maya cities, cave explorations, zipline tours, waterfall hikes, wildlife viewing, and one-on-one meetings with traditional healers.
The Villa
Valley Stream is an intimate retreat. Two private master suites located on the first floor. The house also features a large study with a full bathroom that can be transformed into an additional bedroom.
The suites are equipped with air conditioning, television, ceiling fans, and Wi-Fi.
