Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica
Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica is located along the Madre de Dios River, adjacent to the Tambopata National Reserve.
More than 540 bird species, along with dozens of mammal and reptile species, have been identified on the lodge’s private 42,000-acre reserve.
Meals are included in your stay—buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and a la carte lunch and dinner. Beverages are not included.
Your vacation package includes a variety of jungle excursions (quarter, half, or full-day tours) on group basis with other guests.
Each of the 35 thatched cabanas are fitted with en suite bathrooms. These shaded, airy cabanas are inspired in the Ese’Eja culture.
In-room comforts: hot water, mosquito netting, large towels, ecologically-friendly toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, 100% cotton sheets, umbrellas, flashlights, hammocks, kerosene lamps, ceiling fan, and an electrical outlet.
The Tambopata suites are 840 square feet and feature one King or Twin beds, a private covered terrace with plunge pool, sunbathing chairs and outdoor shower in four integrated areas.
The suites also include an open bathroom concept with a separate shower and toilet, and double basins.
The Amazónica Suites are 647 square feet and feature one King or Twin beds, sizeable bathroom with an independent shower and toilet, plus double basins.
The Superior Rio is 408 square feet features a twin bedroom with a view of the Madre de Dios River.
The open plan bathroom comes with a separate shower stall and toilet.
The Superior is 408 square feet features a twin bedroom with a spacious bathroom with an independent shower and toilet.
Lodge amenities include:
- Spa (Spa products are 100% natural, providing classic nurturing with the exotic ingredients of the Amazon)
- Canopy walkway, nature trails, and gardens
- Laundry service, private guides, binocular rental, and spa treatments are available for an additional cost
- Rooms do not have 24-hour electricity, television, or air conditioning
- Wi-Fi is not available at the lodge, and mobile phone is very limited

Among the most popular are a visit to the Tambopata National Reserve, a visit to the wetland system where guests travel along a boardwalk observing the rainforest swamps, canopy walkways and rainforest trails.
