The lodge features a solar heating system, ‘bioconstruction’, rainwater catchment, green roofs, a naturally treated pool, and a biological wastewater treatment system.

Banana Bamboo Ecolodge social areas were built with guests’ health and well-being in mind. With capacity for 30 guests, the spa features a 1,615-square-foot room ideal for yoga and meetings. Among the other amenities are a massage room, a lounge, hammocks, swimming pool, jetted-tub, and steam room.
The restaurant at Banana Bamboo Ecolodge offers healthy food prepared with locally cultivated ingredients. Most ingredients are cultivated in the lodge’s agroforestry system. Other items are sourced from local organic producers.
Accommodations
Banana Bamboo Ecolodge features 10 guest rooms, each with a balcony and hammock overlooking the gardens. Each suite accommodates up to three guests. Additional bedding can be provided for larger families. Suites can be furnished with a double bed and a single bed, or with three single beds.
Suites at the lodge feature air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, mini-bar, and solar heated showers. Bath amenities are made in small batches with organic essential oils.
