Community support

Punta Islita is an eco-luxury resort on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. Designed by Ronald Zurcher, it was created for travelers who trade ease of access for solitude and immersion in nature. Opened in 1994, it was among Costa Rica’s first upscale eco-hotels. Today, Punta Islita continues its commitment to sustainability by supporting a range of local environmental and community initiatives.
