Ambergris Caye is often called the crown jewel of Belize’s Caribbean Coast, a low island ringed by white sand, mangrove habitat, and calm waters. Placencia is the premier beach destination in Belize. The town is located at the end of a long, narrow peninsula, running parallel to the mainland.
