Nayara Resort (formerly known as Arenal Nayara) is boutique retreat set on a forested hill five miles northwest of the town of La Fortuna. The gardens are richly planted with tropical flowers and succulents, which attract hummingbirds, sloths, and an occasional toucan.
On cloudless days, the cone-shaped Arenal Volcano can be seen in the distance.
