Rustic charm

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción sits along the Madre de Dios River, deep within Peru’s southern Amazon. Once a cacao and rubber plantation, the property now spans nearly 500 acres of rainforest and wetlands. The lodge features a central Casa Grande and thatched-roof cabanas built from local materials. Part of Inkaterra’s pioneering conservation and research projects, Hacienda Concepción serves as both retreat and field station, offering guests a thoughtful balance of comfort, authenticity, and connection to one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.
