Playa Vik stands on the dunes of José Ignacio, overlooking Playa Mansa and the South Atlantic. Conceived by Alex and Carrie Vik with Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, the property redefines coastal design through bold architecture and contemporary art. Its centerpiece, the Sculpture Building, rises in titanium and glass—anchored by a bronze door sculpted by Pablo Atchugarry. The retreat embodies the creative energy of José Ignacio, merging art, nature, and innovation in one of South America’s most striking seaside settings.
