Casa Letty is a private beach house located on Isla Barú, just 45 minutes driving from Cartagena’s Old City (90 minutes by sea). Casa Letty is an excellent option after enjoying Cartagena’s charms, or as the relaxing finish to a journey through Colombia’s Andes or Amazon regions.
Casa Letty looks out toward turquoise waters and 70 meters of beachfront. Days pass at an easy pace here, and you’d be forgiven for putting your phone and watch in a drawer. You can daytrip on privately chartered speedboats to the Rosario Islands for snorkeling and beach hopping. Biking, diving, and horseback excursions can be arranged. Colombia’s National Aviary is a short drive away. Alternatively, just stay home to enjoy a swim, sun on the terraces, and the breezy solitude.
Casa Letty has 4 guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom and walk-in closet. The Master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed (2 meters) and features a private terrace with partial ocean view. The three bedrooms are furnished with a junior-king-size bed (1.8 m) and a day bed.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and hot-water showers.

Staff includes an English-speaking host. Housekeeping is included.

Evening meals at Casa Letty can be arranged in cooperation with Alejandro Ramirez, one of Cartagena’s top chefs. Alejandro can design the menus and provide a member of his team to prepare the meals. These usually feature a twist on traditional Caribbean flavors, and highlight fresh local produce and seafood.

Massages and yoga classes can be arranged for an additional cost. A private speedboat is available at an additional cost for guests to visit the Rosario Island’s coral reefs, beaches, and mangrove habitats.
