PETREL LUXURY MOTOR CATAMARAN
Launched in 2015 and renovated in September 2017, the Petrel is one of the newest and most advanced vessels in the Galapagos and one of our favorites!
This luxury motor catamaran combines speed—ten knots—and steadiness (catamarans tend to be more stable than monohull vessels).
The vessel is 115 feet long, with a beam of 41 feet.
Amenities onboard this Galapagos catamaran include:
- Spacious Lounge
- Dining Area
- Bar
- Sundeck with Jetted Tub
- Lounge Chairs
The crew of eleven includes an expert bilingual guide, two chefs, and a cruise manager.
The Petrel accommodates 16 passengers in nine comfortable cabins.
Four double staterooms (323 square feet) are located on the upper deck, along with a single cabin (151 square feet) able to accommodate one extra.
The main deck has two double staterooms (323 square feet) and two large suites (463 square feet) with private balconies.
Each guestroom features a private bathroom and air conditioning. All staterooms and suites onboard the Petrel feature large windows and private balconies.
Group-basis cruise options are available for four, five, six, and eight days. Cruises depart Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The Petrel can also be chartered for private cruises, allowing guests to customize their cruise itineraries.
Petrel Galapagos cruises can be combined with land-based extensions and dive tours.
